Terms for using DjibConnect.

DjibConnect is a career and recruitment technology platform intended to help connect talent with professional opportunities.

Depending on the features available to a user, DjibConnect may provide CV creation and management, CV analysis and improvement, opportunity discovery, opportunity matching, application tools, cover-letter assistance, candidate management, interview workflows and other recruitment-related functionality.

Features may be introduced, changed, improved, limited or discontinued as the platform develops.

You may use DjibConnect only if you are legally permitted to use the service and can enter into the obligations associated with your use of the platform.

When creating or using an account, you must provide information that is reasonably accurate and keep account information appropriately updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account where such activity results from your actions or failure to protect your credentials.

You must not share passwords, authentication codes or other security credentials with unauthorized persons.

Individual accounts are intended for people using DjibConnect for career-related purposes, including building or managing a CV, exploring opportunities and submitting applications.

Individuals are responsible for the information they place in their profiles, CVs, cover letters and applications.

You must not knowingly present false employment history, qualifications, certifications, skills, identity information or other material professional information.

Institution accounts are intended for organizations and their authorized representatives using DjibConnect for recruitment, opportunity publication or talent-related activities.

A person using an institution account represents that they are authorized to act on behalf of, or appropriately participate in the account of, the relevant institution.

Institutions are responsible for managing access granted to their members and for ensuring that candidate information is accessed only for legitimate and authorized recruitment purposes.

Institutions must not misuse candidate information, publish misleading opportunities or use DjibConnect to engage in unlawful or deceptive recruitment practices.

Institutions may be able to create and publish employment or other professional opportunities through DjibConnect.

The institution publishing an opportunity is responsible for the accuracy, legality and appropriateness of its opportunity content, including role descriptions, requirements, location information, compensation information where provided, deadlines and application instructions.

DjibConnect may review, restrict, unpublish or remove opportunity content where reasonably necessary for platform integrity, safety, compliance or enforcement of these Terms.

The presence of an opportunity on DjibConnect does not itself constitute a guarantee by DjibConnect regarding the position, institution, working conditions, compensation, recruitment outcome or continued availability of the opportunity.

DjibConnect may enable individuals to apply to opportunities through the platform. The candidate is responsible for reviewing the opportunity and deciding whether to apply.

For applications using the DjibConnect application workflow, the candidate must select or provide a CV before submitting the application. Additional materials, such as a cover letter, may be optional or required depending on the relevant opportunity or workflow.

Information submitted as part of an application may become available to authorized users of the institution responsible for the opportunity.

Institutions remain responsible for evaluating candidates and making recruitment decisions. DjibConnect does not guarantee that an application will be reviewed, shortlisted, interviewed or accepted.

Recruitment stages displayed on DjibConnect are intended to communicate or organize the status of an application within the platform and should not be interpreted as a contractual promise of employment.

DjibConnect may allow users to upload existing CVs, create CVs using platform tools and use supported features to review or improve CV content.

You retain responsibility for reviewing your CV and ensuring that its information is truthful, current and appropriate before using it in an application.

You should not include information in a CV that you do not have the right to disclose or information that is unnecessarily sensitive for the intended professional purpose.

When a particular CV is submitted with an application, that selected CV may be associated with the application record. Creating or editing another CV later does not necessarily modify the document or information already associated with an earlier application.

You are responsible for information you provide through DjibConnect and for checking information generated, extracted or transformed by platform tools before relying on it.

Document extraction, AI analysis, matching and other automated features may misunderstand or omit information. You should correct errors when you identify them.

DjibConnect does not independently verify every statement made by every candidate or institution unless a specific verification process expressly states otherwise.

You agree not to use DjibConnect to:

• Impersonate another person, organization or institution.
• Provide materially false or deceptive professional or recruitment information.
• Publish fraudulent, unlawful, discriminatory or intentionally misleading opportunities.
• Obtain candidate information for unrelated marketing, harassment, surveillance or unauthorized purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account, institution workspace, database or restricted platform functionality.
• Circumvent authentication, permissions, security controls, usage restrictions or technical protections.
• Upload malicious code, malware or content intended to disrupt the platform.
• Scrape, harvest or systematically extract platform or user information without authorization.
• Use the platform to violate applicable laws or the rights of another person or organization.
• Use automated or AI functionality in a manner intended to deceive, harm or unlawfully discriminate against other users.

You retain ownership of original content you provide to DjibConnect, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.

By providing content to the platform, you grant DjibConnect the permissions reasonably necessary to host, store, process, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of operating the features you request and providing the service.

DjibConnect's software, interface, branding, platform design and other proprietary platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights and may not be copied, redistributed or exploited except as permitted by law or with appropriate authorization.

You must have the necessary rights to any documents, logos, text or other materials you upload or publish through the platform.

DjibConnect may rely on third-party technologies or services for functions such as infrastructure, authentication, storage, hosting, communications or AI-assisted processing.

The platform may also contain links to external websites or application processes. DjibConnect does not control every third-party service and is not responsible for the independent content, policies, availability or practices of third parties.

If an opportunity directs you to an external application service, your use of that external service may be governed by separate terms and privacy practices.

DjibConnect may provide verification mechanisms for institution accounts. Verification is intended to support platform trust and account administration but should not be interpreted as a guarantee, endorsement or certification of every action, opportunity, employee or statement associated with an institution.

Verification status may be reviewed, changed, suspended or removed where appropriate.

DjibConnect may change, update, maintain or temporarily interrupt parts of the platform as necessary to operate, secure or improve the service.

Although reasonable efforts may be made to maintain reliable access, uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

Features may differ by account type, status, language, location, technical availability or stage of platform development.

DjibConnect may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, institutions, platform security or legal compliance, or where these Terms are materially or repeatedly violated.

Users may also stop using the platform. Account closure or deletion requests may be subject to technical, security, legal and record-retention requirements described in the Privacy Policy.

Termination of access does not automatically eliminate obligations or rights that by their nature should continue after termination.

DjibConnect is a technology platform and does not itself become the employer, employee, recruiter, employment agency, legal adviser or representative of a user merely because the user accesses platform functionality.

Information, matching, AI analysis and generated content available through DjibConnect are provided for informational and workflow-support purposes. Users should apply their own judgment and, where appropriate, obtain qualified professional advice.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform is provided without guarantees that every feature will always be available, error-free or suitable for every user's particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DjibConnect should not be responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses resulting solely from reliance on platform content, automated analysis, third-party services, recruitment decisions or interactions between independent users and institutions.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit responsibility where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Any final limitation of liability, financial cap or jurisdiction-specific exclusion should be interpreted in accordance with applicable law and the legal identity of the entity operating DjibConnect.

Users and institutions are responsible for their own misuse of the platform, unlawful content and violations of the rights of others.

Where permitted by applicable law, a user may be responsible for losses or claims resulting from that user's unlawful use, fraudulent activity or material breach of these Terms.

These Terms are intended to operate subject to applicable law. Mandatory legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

The specific governing-law and dispute-resolution provisions should reflect the legal entity that formally operates DjibConnect and the jurisdictions in which the service is offered.

Until those corporate and jurisdictional details are formally established, these Terms should not be interpreted as inventing a jurisdiction, court or arbitration mechanism that has not been adopted by the operator.

DjibConnect may update these Terms as the platform, its business model, functionality or legal requirements evolve.

Material revisions should be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice may be provided to users.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance where permitted by applicable law and where appropriate notice has been provided.
